Restoring the bus

First of all we had to give the old lady a name. Thought where spinning and considering the condition that she was in the name "The Wreck" but that wasn't to nice. Then we decided to call her "Danskan" similiar to The Danish woman.

The bus was stripped and parts such as the front doors, engine lid and other small parts where taken home to my friends garage so that we easy can go out and work. This is how it looks at the moment. This is Henrik, my friend.

The bus has some major areas that will need our attention. One is the roof. Sadly some local hooligans have had their fun on the root and it looked like this when we picked her up. Second picture shows the result after some work on it.

I have been doing the front doors and this is how is looks. We treid paintremoval on the door, just to apply it, enjoy a nice cup of coffe and just remove the paint after 30 minutes. Very efficient.

The door is finished and really satisfied with the result and me removing the paint.

Henrik have been working much on the engine lid. It was quite rusty and this is how it look now.
