When we got the bus home, we where excited over the bus. Finally we had a splitwindow, in a rather bad condition although.
But anyway - first thing was to give the old girl her first shower in many years. She was covered in dirt.
Since she had been standing still for that long the first thing that we had to to, was get her rolling again. Using some specialist tools from a local VW garage made things easier, but we still had to struggle.
Then we started to strip her for parts and also investigate the real condition of her.

Now we got the engine home and I was going to South Africa and Henrik got the engine to his garage.
"Don't worry - I will just look at it......" 3 hours later came these pictures over SMS
"Sweat VW lord" was my first though - And my friend just told me "It wasn't that hard...."
